Playoff Filter

Individual player stat pages now include a filter for playoff performance. You can select one of three options: all games including playoffs, regular season only, and playoffs only.

Now you can see how insane Kurt Warner's passing game really was in the 2008 run to the Super Bowl. And how costly was Jake Delhomme's 5-interception performance in 2008?

Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw both had about 200 yards in the 2007 championship run, but which runner really made the bigger difference?

How was Rex Grossman's WPA on the way to the Bears' appearance in the 2006 Super Bowl?

Did the 2005 Steelers really win on the strength of their running game?

Compare the offenses of the 2002 Buccaneers with the 2000 Ravens. Or compare the four Super Bowl runs of the Patriots in 2001, 2003, 2004, and 2007.

It's pretty clear from these numbers that no team can run their way to a championship in today's NFL. Even the teams with great defenses only seem to minimize their net setbacks by leaning on their running game. No one is running over teams on the way to the Lombardi Trophy.

When will individual player pages have playoff stats?

Oops. Sorry, forgot to flip the switch on that. You just have to get to the individual career pages for playoffs/reg season/both via the appropriate team or position page. In other words, if you go from the 2009 WR Playoff Only page to Austin Collie's page, you get his playoff stats only.

Also, I just noticed a bug on some receiver's target numbers in seasons in the early half of the decade. I'll check on that.

Update-I made some corrections to the database. In some cases players who played in previous games but did not appear in subsequent games were double credited for their "basic" stats (attempts, yards, etc.) from their previous game. It's now fixed.
