I have been looking at ...First of all, GREAT BLOG. I have been looking at stats a bit in relation to the NFL and you provide a huge jump-start to my efforts - giving me some ready-made results and some great places for further digging. I have a feeling I wlll be reading and commenting on a lot of your entries! :-)

For this blog in particular, wouldn't you say that smart players "tend to start playing earlier in their careers" makes them de facto better players? If I am drafting a QB to be the next team leader, I would love to have him ready to play in the first year or two, rather than after 3 or 4 years.

Another couple stats that might be informative are
* (# of years until starting) vs Wonderlick
* (passing efficiency in first starting year) vs Wonderlick.

where starting might be defined as 12+ starts in a year.

These would show how quickly the QB is ready and how well they do when they first get thrown into the fray.

Tim FAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38600807.post-46314203807615907102008-05-30T15:21:00.000-04:002008-05-30T15:21:00.000-04:00Wow, great debunking.Wow, great debunking.JTapphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17812390329612009756noreply@blogger.com
